Ah Ms Kelly… movie star, model, mother and Princess!
In her early 20’s she started out as an model (represented by Ford Modeling Agency) and went on to become quite the movie star. In the early 50’s at the age of 26 she retired from her acting and modeling career to fulfil her duties in Monaco as princess. The entire adult population of Monaco—3,000—was invited to the celebration following her wedding to Rainier III, Prince of Monaco. She & the prince had three bambinos, Caroline, Albert, and Stéphanie. You have most likely heard of Princess Stephanie & Princess Caroline at some stage.
As a model, Grace was one of the first models to appear in a Max Factor lipstick ad and she was the first actress to appear on an American postage stamp! Bing Crosby proposed to hera short time after making a movie together but she turned him down, lucky…she ended finding herself a prince!
She was a good friend of the Kennedy family (but of course!). In 1954, when Jack Kennedy was hospitalized for a back problem, Jackie snuck Grace, dressed as a nurse, in to visit him to raise his spirits.
She had a art studio her she used to work on pressed flower art. In 1977 a gallery in Paris exhibited her compositions of dried flowers. In 1982 at the age of 52 she lost control of her car and suffered a stroke. She died in the accident.
